Why the KATANA 1.0 is the best looking padel racket in the UK
Let's be honest — most padel rackets look the same. Black frame, generic logo, forgettable design. You put it down on the court and nobody looks twice.
The KATANA 1.0 is different.
Design inspired by Japanese heritage
We're Kai and Mark, two British-Japanese brothers who built Samurai Padel Co. from scratch. The KATANA isn't just named after a Japanese sword for the sake of it — the entire design is rooted in our heritage. The samurai warrior graphic, the Japanese script, the red and black colourway — every detail was deliberate.
We wanted to build the racket we'd actually want to carry onto the court. Something that turns heads before you even hit a ball.
The design process
Most racket brands treat design as an afterthought — slap a logo on and ship it. We spent months getting the KATANA graphic right. The samurai face on the hitting surface is intricate, bold and unmistakable. On the black version it hits differently — aggressive, powerful, the kind of racket that makes a statement. The white version is cleaner, more refined — precision over power.
Both versions carry the サムライ Japanese script across the top of the face. It means Samurai. It's who we are.
Performance that matches the looks
A great looking racket that plays badly is just wall art. The KATANA is built to perform — 3K carbon fibre face for explosive pace, EVA memory foam core for control and vibration absorption, and a reinforced frame that'll take whatever the court throws at it.
You shouldn't have to choose between a racket that looks incredible and one that helps you win. The KATANA gives you both.
The best looking padel racket in the UK?
We'll let you decide — but we've yet to see anything on a UK court that comes close. The feedback we get most from customers isn't about the carbon fibre or the EVA core. It's "where did you get that racket?"
That's what we built it for.
